I have no idea.  You are right, she did not suit up, but she was on the floor helping the team warm up, so she was not deathly ill or badly injured, at least.

AP reports that she sat out "as a precaution for an undisclosed illness," so this seems to be more of the same mystery we have witnessed all year.

Toni's illness will play a brobdingnagian role for the remainder of the season.  After 8 or so months it appears it will come and go for the rest of the season

I know Ms. Kokenis has recently worn both an elastic knee brace and a thumb brace (either of which might well throw off her FG and FT percentages, both lower than norm). Here's hoping it isn't something like mono or Lyme Disease. Or if it is, that she mends and is back to full speed before the Big Dance.

BobK often knows things the rest of us don't--at least he knows them before we know them.  His remarks and the consistent reference in the press to an "illness" indicate that it is unrelated to her various dings and braces.  I presume that there is a reason that Toni wants her privacy on this issue. 

It is not, however, speculative to consider what the effect of losing her would be.  Without Toni as our reliable top perimeter defender our team becomes much weaker, and we have to brace for what could be some tough times.  Let's hope that Jasmine and Sara continue to improve their defense, since it will be needed.  Both of them seemed to play very good defense yesterday, so there is hope.  It is even possible that Tara is keeping Toni out against a couple of weaker teams to help develop Jasmine and Sara, since she knows they are going to be needed even more than she first thought.

What has happened to Alex Green?  She was expected to be back for the start of Pac 12 play, and I don't see her in warm ups anymore.  Ally Beebe is out there with the team before games, at least (and looks somewhat imposing, if only she can get completely healthy for next year.)

Alex was in uniform Friday, and at one point it looked like she was about to go in, but got called back. She was cleared to practice a while back. So hopefully we'll see her in a game soon.
