Garvin, I thought of you when I read the obit this morning. I never met him, but he sounds like quite a character.

garvin, that was a marvelous prank story - Redrum - 02-10-2013

I was laughing as I walked through our kitchen.  My wife asked what was SO funny.  So I recounted it to her just as you wrote it.  She just sort of looked at me and said, "Well...if you think its funny."

But it was funny.  It is funny.  And then I made the always-fatal mistake of explaining a joke.  I told her that any prank that involves a covey of strippers had to be good.

"If you say so...I guess"

She was much more fun when I first married her.

Harry was a classic. The world is a lesser place since his passing.  :(

[size=12pt]I liked this: "he was relentlessly positive and appreciative of everything he had."  If you can do that for 93 years....
