Brandon Simmons, safety from Texas, offers from just about everybody (i.e. LSU, Michigan, N.D., SC, etc.) has committed. We think.

Ranked #17 S and #242 overall by 247, #14 S and #200 overall by Rivals, #8 S and #90 overall by Scout.

Some people predicted Brandon Simmons would be Stanford's first commit, months ago.Â It sure did seem like they were gonna be correct, given his Bootleg radio interview, and the fact his west coast trip was USC and UCLA and Thursday, Cal on Friday, and Stanford on Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday.

Big recruit at a position of need.

A guy would be foolish to swear off visiting other places until his Stanford application is approved.Â Besides, what 17/18 yo wouldn't want to go on FREE trips to see college campuses across the country?
