I , too am surprised. I remember the game when Allen just seemed to have his way with our defense. Seemed very talented but he put his negatives out there for all to see. Cost him a bundle.

He didn't plunge as far as Barkley. Hard to see a soft landing for him ;)

Yeah. There were what--seven?-- WRs taken ahead of Allen. NFL.com somehow grades him out at the fourth-best receiver in the draft. The GMs, scouts, and coaches say differently. I was surprised to see Robert Woods go in the second round though (fourth receiver picked). That seemed a tad late.
