Stanford loses 4 of 6 first sets before rallying in the second sets where we are currently either tied or leading in each match.
Maybe there is something to this "tired after an emotionally exhausting semi-final" storyline after all.

You can't out-will several straight days of hard tennis. Marist? and Rice weren't taxing, but that 5 hr set against U$C...and then Georgia...and then Florida. That was a much tougher road to the top than A&M had. But here we go Stanford!

Nicole Gibbs! What an outstanding turnaround. She lost the first 8 games to go down a set and be down 0-2 in the second. Then she flipped a switch and won the next 12 games to take the second and third sets. Amazing.

Hardebeck's in a do-or-die situation, down 3-6, 5-6 with A&M leading 30-15...Tsay's done, 1-6, 5-7. Not enough at the end.
Ahn and Dillon need to rally from 0-2 and 0-3 deficits in their respective third sets!

Ugh, Urbina (A&M) is running Hardebeck around the court. Urbina does look more lively to me...c'mon Krista. Down 3-6 in the third set, and it's first to 7 pts, win by 2.

Hardebeck loses a tough one...she tried to make Urbina run, but her return looked too long.
Dillon is down 0-5 in her third set. Looks like it's up to Ahn to pull it off. She's up 3-2 in her third set.

Ahn is just battering Stancu's backhand, but it was a Stancu forehand into the net that won Ahn's fifth game. One more!

A lucky shot tipped by the net evens up the game at 40-40. Ahn can close with two more points, but she won't lose if she drops this game (up 5-2).
