Re: Why Terrence Brown left - stupac2 - 06-17-2013

I'm glad to hear that he didn't have any delusions about where he was going, that he was expecting to be a UDFA and then make the most of it. I'm glad he's on a team, hope he can find a roster spot.

There are now 3 of our guys in Cincy:  R. Whalen, the Mayor, and Brown.  Hopefully they will get some airtime on Hard Knocks (though I would guess the focus will fall on guys like Pacman Jones or Andy Dalton).

Man, my childhood team, the Bungles, where careers go to die, a fate I would not wish upon any Stanford graduate.  Not even Kal or UCLA grads.  $C or ND grads certainly.  Still a chance is a chance.  And right now, the near future looks bright for the Bungles.  Fool's Gold.

Only seen Hard Knocks a couple times, long ago.  My understanding is that they focus on rookies particularly undrafted ones trying to make the team.  So there's a good chance, Stephens and/or Brown will feature prominently.  Unless, of course, it is train wreck television that HBO's going for a la Antonio Cromartie not remembering the names of his kids.

Maybe I should bite the bullet and get broadcast basic + HBO so I can watch this and Game of Thrones.  BTW my experience in LA is that there was regulation that required the cable industry to offer premium channels a la carte as long as you got basic basic cable (just the over the air channels).  This is a secret that the cable industry did not want publicized.
