Pac-12 Football and Basketball Games in China? - Bruce Wang - 07-11-2013

This is a good idea.  Stanford commands tremendous respect in the region.  We should play there.  Though it would not be a good idea to play UCLA over there.  That could turn into a home game for them over there.

I would not want to see Stanford football play in China. It's too far away, too disruptive to academics, too expensive, and means that the vast majority of our students and fans can't attend. I certainly don't want to give up a home game to play in China. We only get a handful of home games each year, and I don't want to give up any of them.

Maybe the NCAA can pass a rule similar to the rule that allows teams playing the Rainbow Warriors to get a 13th game.

It'd be an interesting pre-preseason game idea.  Not sure if I'd be able to make *that* away game though...
