Drew Madhu is listed as a letterwinner we've lost on page 3. Also not listed on the alphabetical roster on page 6. Has he left the program?

According to the "History" section we've never had a Pac-8/10/12 defensive player of the year. Is that true? This would be a good year to reverse that.

Given how many great players there are and how cohesively they play as an unit, it will be difficult for one to stand out statistically. Maybe Ed Reynolds if he breaks the NCAA record for Pick 6's.

I heard from a source close to his family - Madhu has retired from playing football due to a head injury. He is still a Stanford student.

Sorry to see Madhu go. He always seemed to be one of the first down on special team coverages. He and Krishnamurthi are two of the very few football players of Indian descent in football, which doesn't go unnoticed among the community.
(Another rare nationality on Stanford is Hemschoot, whose mom is Filipino.)
Also noticed from the media guide that Henry Anderson put on another 15 lbs. and is up to 295. Eesh.
