Griff Whalen -

It sounds like Griff is producing in camp with the Colts:
Quote:Griff Whalen came into training camp with a ton of hype behind him, and he only picked up more steam today. He ran comeback routes, post routes, go routes and fade routes, and I didn't see him drop a single pass in any of them. Some of the passes were slightly off target, and he always managed to bring them in anyway. He made a few great catches during offense-only drills, like a 40-yard one-handed TD grab, and then kept it going into 11-on-11 drills. But here's what I like best about Whalen: He makes every catch look routine and easy, even when it's not. Great start for him.

I hope he can make the team.

Whalen has a ton of hype? He's an undrafted free agent who missed a year with an injury. Where's the hype coming from?
Maybe whatsisname--you know, the QB guy--is hyping Griff - Redrum - 07-29-2013
But you missed the real nugget in there, terry. The reports are some of Luck's passes were slightly off.
I knew it! The guy's the next Ryan Leaf.

I found the comment about "ton of hype" surrounding GW amusing as well. The "hype" is probably just the ramblings of another StampedeBlue author who wrote about Griff being a dark horse to make the team back in March:

I dunno, not being a fan of the Colts, I would tend to defer to their judgments about which Colts have actually been hyped or not.
Compare the level of attention Kelsey Young gets among Stanford fans with the Q-rating among all other fans.
