Probably angry about the Badgers snagging Gary Andersen.

I didn't miss this.  Just figured he took a cheap shot about something that's top of mind for everybody.  If he replied, "Hey Southern Kal, huh?  What's up with your graduates becoming child pornographers and murderers?", that would have made him an American hero.

Or maybe Harry Reid decided he'd had enough of political questions for the day, esp from (what sounded like a fresh-faced kid who didn't even follow protocol).

But Reid is wrong. You can buy football players...and you can buy politicians too, since he decided to go there.

Suggest it to his face and you might not get the response you're hoping for:

Quote:A man named Jack Gordon, who later married LaToya Jackson, tried to give Reid a $12,000 bribe. Reid let the FBI videotape Gordon offering him the bribe, and then, according to a Las Vegas Review-Journal account, he "put his hands around Gordon's neck and said, 'You son of a bitch, you tried to bribe me.'
