Seattle Weather - Greyhound - 09-28-2013
It's noon in Seattle and it's raining so hard I've lost my Dish satellite signal. Fortunately the wind hasn't really picked up yet, but it is supposed to be on the way.
Should be interesting conditions on the field by game time.

So what does Leach change about his offense in a downpour?

The latest radar shows heavy rain about an hour before kickoff, then a clear patch, and then another band moving through later in the game.

Looks like heavy rain for the UW game also. Premium on good hands in the Pacific Northwest today!

LSJUMB isn't there, are they? :D
Seeing plenty of slips and miscues in the AZ vs. UW game due to wet conditions in Seattle

The rain has varied between drizzle and driving, sideways storming. I decided to take public transit since traffic and parking seemed apocalyptic. The bus is not immune to traffic, unfortunately. Rain gear is packed and ready to go!

Hope they put the tarp out at CenturyLink.

Wash St is not going to be able to pass all day, IMO. I hope advantage Stanford.

It does not. See David Lombardi's photo -

Stadium staffmember told Lombardi that she has never seen weather at CenturyLink as nasty as the current wind/rain combination.

CenturyLink Stadium website says "Roof protection for 70 percent of seats".

That was the baseball stadium. I had really bad "Stanford" seats in the endzone. I quickly realized the seats were terrible and moved to the first row of the second deck at mid-field. Those were great seats and we had the entire section to ourselves. Though it was frustrating to see Stanford play so poorly, I did enjoy the view. I remember it was a touch cool, but it was relatively dry that day.
For this coming game as long as people stay dry the weather will not be that bad. I am sure most Seattle based Wazzu fans will be able to handle the weather.

I've got the Oregon game going on my laptop. Now that game looks like a weather disaster. It is driving rain. The sideline reported looked miserable giving an update on Deanthony Thomas' injury. She did not want to be there.
