It's Wednesday, so it's prediction time!
Last week Kevin Gemmell won, and now the ESPN bloggers are #3 and #8 in the overall standings. We need to show those pros that here at the Cardboard we also know our football!
Vegas expects us to win 32-23 (I rounded it up).
My prediction is that Hogan takes advantage of a weak secondary with 3 TDs, and Cajuste takes advantage of mismatches with 80+ yards. Stanford wins 34-17.

I see us with a 31-7 lead going into the 4th quarter and Utah getting 2 garbage-time TD's in the 4th quarter.

From the ESPN Pac12 Blog:
Gemmell: Utah is getting closer, but hasnt quite gotten over the hump yet. Stanfords offense will be looking to bounce back -- as will Utahs. Last week felt like a good wakeup call for the Cardinal, who own the nations second-longest winning streak. I'm expecting physical line play from both teams, but ultimately a Cardinal win. Stanford 31, Utah 21.
Miller: I like both quarterbacks to bounce back from poor performances last week, but Stanford's Kevin Hogan has a better supporting cast than Utah's Travis Wilson, and Wilson will be facing the Pac-12's best front seven. There should be plenty of good contact at the line of scrimmage. Stanford 35, Utah 20.

34-20. I don't follow any one else but Stanford, so these guesses are complete shots in the dark. I'm just going to lower the difference a little for Oregon, and raise it to 30 for Cal.

Utah comes in all fired up with confidence based on the performance against UCLA, but they quickly realize Stanford's OL is much better, and playing a veteran secondary isn't quite the same as playing an inexperienced one.
Barry Sanders returns a punt for a TD, Ed Reynolds gets back on the board with a pick 6 and Hogan thrown 3 TDs...

27-13 Stanford. Offense has trouble getting in a groove in a tough environment, but the defense forces stops and turnovers, giving us another big win in the field position battle that leads to the win.

I am going with a 37-20 final. I for see a good pick six and a solid running performance from the good guys. Utah is down one of their best receivers and their overall coverage looked suspect against UCLA.
