4 of our former enemies make the Top 10: one Domer (Fake Girlfriend Guy) and three Trojenz (Dirty Sanchez, Pick 6 Palmer, and Kim Kardashian's Ex)

I'm kind of surprised that Richard Sherman wasn't on the list. Do people enjoy/appreciate his style? I would have thought a loud mouth like him would draw both a lot of strong likes but also strong dislikes.
Why do people hate Tom Brady? Is it just because he has a charmed life with multiple SB rings and one of the most beautiful women on the planet for a wife?
Is Reggie Bush significant enough to be disliked? I'd forgotten he was even still in the league.

As Publius notes, Sherman has his own quirky charm. Those man-on-the-street interview videos last year were amusing. He's like a little boy sometimes, a cute cut-up, but very good at his job.
My dislike of Tom Brady has nothing to do with his on-field performance. Off the field, he exhibited serious character flaws when he dumped his pregnant girlfriend for another woman. In my book, he will always be a dirtbag.
Reggie Bush will always be the one who had to return his Voldemort trophy because of scandal.
No. 8 on the list of Most Liked NFL Players is none other than Stanford's favorite two-time Voldemort runner-up.

Maybe Brady found out who the father was.

I think it's because he seems to have insanely (and not entirely deserved) good luck. The win at home over the Saints the other day is just one example, and in general people (including myself) feel that the Patriots win more games than they probably should.

His profile sure appears to have plummeted in recent years, but those signature somersaults into the end zone can't help...

Remember the endless talk radio debate in 2007 - Which is the better can't miss draft choice - Vince Young or Reggie Bush? Ouch! Add in a bunch of other poor NFL performers (Matt Leinart, AJ Hawk, Lendale White, etc) and you can see how drafting is not so much an art as a science.
All of those Texans who booed Houston for taking Mario Williams over local product Vince Young, calling it, "A move that they will regret for a decade", should go and apologize.
Here's that ill-fated draft's first 15 selections. My apologies for the table formatting. I need remedial help if I'm ever going to get tables formatted correctly on the Cardboard.
1 Houston Texans   Mario Williams DE
2 New Orleans Saints Reggie Bush RB USC
3 Tennessee Titans  Vince Young QB Texas
4 New York Jets     D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia
5 Green Bay Packers  A. J. Hawk LB Ohio StateÂ
6 San Francisco 49ers Vernon Davis TE Maryland
7 Oakland Raiders    Michael Huff S Texas
8 Buffalo Bills      Donte Whitner S Ohio State
9 Detroit Lions     Ernie Sims LB Florida State
10 Arizona Cardinals Matt Leinart QB USC
11 Denver Broncos   Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt
12 Baltimore Ravens Haloti Ngata DT Oregon Pac-10 ]
13 Cleveland Browns Kamerion Wimbley DE Florida State
14 Philadelphia Eagles Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
15 St. Louis Rams    Tye Hill CB Clemson

VY might have done well under a different coach who didn't try to grind him out under a different system. But I think most Texan fans (fans of the Texans) wanted Reggie Bush as an electrifying playmaker. A lot of Texas fans did want VY picked. You can't fault the thinking of Houston's front office though--in a division where Peyton Manning was then running the show, Houston needed some DL presence.
Sometimes good players never get the right coaches or systems around them...and that's the way sports works.

I was thinking the same thing.
I wish I could find a video of it but one of my most favorite moments from Monday Night Football was when Tony Kornheiser made that exact same statement. The look on Ron Jaworski's face was priceless because he was utterly dumbfounded and I thought he was actually going to bitchslap Kornheiser on live TV (which I wish he would have done just on principle alone).
