Marx's admittance was hailed nicely by charming gentlemen from Oregon. Such nice chaps:

Bobby Okereke per his own Twitter on 11/25.

Are Alfieri, Marx, and Okereke still the only known admits to date?
It seems the floodgates are about to open on this front, with the big Jan. 10 visit weekend now less than two weeks away.

Schultz is still working on his application. Hopefully the commits submitted theirs a while ago.

This has happened a number of times in the past. Sometimes recruits are simply too lazy. Reggie Bush was apparently in this catagory. And, more often than not, recruits are told that they need to take some AP classes and/or improve their SAT score before submitting or resubmitting their application.

the coaches don't even give applications to kids who aren't enrolled in 2 AP classes their first semester of their senior year. They essentially stop recruiting them.

I hear 80-85% of the recruiting class have not yet been admitted.

This is par for the course at this time of year. Lots of admissions notifications will be made between now and next week end, when the big visit is occurring.
Also, this is the time of year when we typically get a couple of decomitments.

Yeah, that comment was mostly made to add some content to what was essentially a bump.
In addition to getting decommits this time of year, we have also have a few commit to us from other schools once they are admitted.

Who's most likely to de-commit? It seems that this class is pretty solid all the way through.

I would go with Okereke, who supposedly was talking to UCLA as a possibility if he didn't get admitted to Stanford. Although sometimes this can be a sign of an abundance of caution (nobody is admitted until they are admitted), sometimes it can be a sign that admissions chances are not guaranteed.
By the way, I feel like the number of admissions casualties has gone down in recent years; I think the staff is better about communicating with some of the more marginal candidates so that they don't announce a commitment until they are admitted, having been burned a couple times in the past.

Okereke has a 4.5 GPA and a 2120 SAT so he seems like a lock to get admitted. Where did you hear he was talking to UCLA? I don't think I've seen anything about that.

Okereke has already been admitted -- scroll up to earlier in this thread, or per his twitter account on 11/25.Â
