Cliff Nass - yvonne - 11-13-2013

I don't know whether there are many comm grads here. Cliff Nass, professor who was most known for his work on multitasking and human computer interaction, died earlier this month. When he first came to Stanford, he was involved with pretty ordinary communication research, and was kind of goofy.  As soon as I heard, I sensed it was a heart attack. Cliff was hyper and was overweight. In fact, he collapsed following a hike. He was 55.

There is a beloved professor at the University of Washington, Cliff Mass. He is a regular commentator on the weather and related climate issues in public forums. As far as I know, he's very much alive.

(I got confused when I saw your headline. I didn't know who Cliff Nass was.)
