Pass Interference? - DC - 11-16-2013
Our last drive. DB shoves Montgomery out of bounds and to the ground while he is still running his route, leading to a bizarre turn of events and us losing the game.
Isn't that pass interference?

Wow, just got home from the game and saw the replay of that interception. I had no idea that Montgomery had been shoved out of bounds like that. More importantly, the refs didn't either. Nice job refs.

Definitely more than five yards downfield. Seemed like "illegal contact" should've been the call.

Wish they would have called illegal contact. Don't these Pac-12 refs understand how much money the conference loses when we miss a BCS game? The Pac-12 needs to hire those refs like we had against the Notre Dame game last year. Oh wait...Â
Or maybe they need to hire refs like in the NBA, who know how to protect the superstars and glamour franchises. Oh wait, that didn't work out either. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/9135767/pac-12-conference-ref-boss-ed-rush-resigns-technical-foul-bounty-scandalÂ
Some other thoughts about refs and rules:
- Hate that the USC player can take a blatant cheap shot on Hogan right in the chest early in the game, and just get a 15 yard penalty. Was just about as late a cheap shot as I have seen, and he really wound up with a head of steam too.
- There was the measurement that looked a few inches short, and then they just gave us the first down (I was okay with this one)
- The holding call on Cajuste was weak, as was the flop called as a personal foul on Ronnie Harris at the end of a kick return
- However, they didn't go for the flop that usually gets called when Murphy made contact with the punter
