Pac12 CG Prediction - FarmBoy - 12-04-2013
Sooooo, are we all just to nervous about the game to start throwing out predictions? I figured I would let the "experts" start things off. This is the summary from Wilner's blog prediction:

Because that was Stanfords lead when it pulled Hogan and downshifted tactically and psychologically.
In my estimation, the venue change and ASUs experience facing Stanfords power game remember: the teams didnt play in 2011-12 does not add up to 25.
It narrows the gap considerably, but not all the way.
Final score: Stanford 30, ASU 23.
So yeah, we're basically screwed since Wilner is choosing Stanford outright.

Not a brobdingnagian fan of Wilner, but he did predict that we would lose to Utah this season.
28-21 for the Cardinal. We stuff their running game, they get a few yards through the air. Gaffney goes over 150 yards, Hogan throws for 2 touchdowns.

Axe Wielders 24, Diablos 14. Stanford defense slows down passing game, stops run. O-line takes over in second half. Diablos score early, then get shut down.

Wilmer has actually been pretty accurate this year. Not only did he predict our loss to Utah, he also predicted the win over Oregon.

So here it is, the Pac-12 championship.
We play a team whose lines were overwhelmed a mere 3 months ago, but since then, we've lost Gardner, and they have improved.
We have a fairly close race between Leftcoast and Extra Point for the final win in the Predict the score game.
I don't believe the home Vs road will affect us much, so I predict a 28-21 win. Close game, but pressure on Kelly and tackles-for-loss slow down ASU enough for a Stanford win.

This is our game. We are going to crush the Sun Devils into the desert. Gaffney will play like his ass is on fire to get to the Rose Bowl. Our D will destroy their QB.

Ted Miller: In the Sept. 21 game -- a 42-28 Stanford blowout that wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicates -- Arizona State gave the Cardinal two interceptions and two blocked punts. It was a messy performance from an ASU team that was learning who it was. Over the past seven games -- all wins -- the Sun Devils have matured. They won't be the sloppy team they were at Stanford. They are 7-0 at home this year with an average margin of victory of 28 points. They won't reach that margin against the rugged Cardinal, but they are going to do enough to earn the school its first Rose Bowl berth since the 1996 season. Arizona State 28, Stanford 24.
