Have these guys ever seen a tackling dummy? And now, let the "these-offenses-are-so-good-no-one-can-stop-them" spin commence.

Was thinking the exact same thing!

Mizzou's run defense in this game is probably the worst I've ever seen. My grandmother could probably run on them.

At the end of 3 quarters, Mizzou has given up almost 500 yards on the ground. Sheesh!

More than 1,200 yards & more than 100 points in that game. Mizzou's DC lost that game for them with a three-man front that looked more like Swiss cheese that a defensive strategy. *sigh* It was an exciting game anyway, and my daughter says she had a good time, even if HER Tigers didn't win.

+1

The SEC hype machine is a farce. I'm sorry that Ohio State lost, because I would have liked to have seen the SEC shut out of the championship game. It would have been fun to hear them howl.

Well, I think FSU/Auburn is a matchup of bama/ND proportions. (Except Malzahn's got more intelligence in his toenail clippings than B. Kelly.) So that might tap the brakes on the SEC hype a mite.

I don't really mind Auburn getting in there.  In 10 years people will be saying things like "this could be the SEC's first title since the end of the BCS system".  The "BCS" titles will be massively devalued once we have a real playoff.    They are already not recognized by the NCAA and as time goes by they will seem even less legitimate.

I have to cheer for Winston now.  Sigh.  OTOH, a mediocre ex-Big 12 team nearly won the $EC championship.  Interesting stuff.  Auburn almost looked like the Auburn that nearly lost to WSU at home earlier this season.
