Isn't it supposed to be El Palo Alto? I mean, I know it's not always shown that way since that wouldn't make a great tree costume (though it's been done), but I thought that was the inspiration.

Anyway, good luck getting through that mofo with an ax: "The landmark redwood is 90 inches (2.3 meters) in diameter."
