Chiney is up for the Lowe's Senior Class Award. A portion of the decision is based upon fan votes. Unfortunately, she is now in 7th place in fan votes. Bumping her up to a more respectable level would make it easier for the other 2/3 (coaches and media) to give her the award.

...you can vote everyday. And it looks like some people in Nebraska are doing just that.Â
For that matter, can we Stanford fans give Chiney more votes than the player from UT Martin.....? Right now this is an embarrassment.

Yeah, this kind of Internet ballot box stuffing contest is no way to determine a serious award.

Yes, I agree with all that and remember Nneka getting the short end of the stick on the balloting too.Â
2/3 of the award is based on coaches and press, though, so you only need to be a little bit respectable in the ballot-box-stuffing end of things.
