We haven't been a conference favorite at any point since 2009, so I'm totally fine with not being one this year. (When was the last time Stanford was picked in the pre-season Pac-12 media poll as the conference favorite?)

Kal, University of Second Choice and Notre Dame.    Ted Miller brought up the whole conference favorite thing.

Weren't we picked in 2011 in Luck's farewell tour? I'm pretty sure Ted Miller picked us, along with many other media members, if not a majority. We've been 'a' favorite, if not 'the' favorite.

I believe that a former President referred to those three as the Axis of Evil ... at least I think that is what he was talking about.
