No damage at all here in Oakland, though the house shook quite a bit. Scared the crap out of my cats!

It woke me up in Palo Alto and only seemed to last about 7 seconds here. It must have been much stronger and longer closer to Napa.

Didn't even wake me up in Menlo Park, though our house guest felt it.

My Family in Napa since 1864. 19 relatives there and all OK. One my aunt so very old evacuated with gas leak. Facebook posts from family and lots of damage like glass, dishes TVs etc.Â

Good. Better glass and dishes than bones. Our daughter felt it strongly in Pacifica (no damage.). She says the house rolled for about 15 - 20 seconds. She has lived in the Bay area for 20 years so no hysteria.

Like others, woke up in Burlingame. Obviously strong enough to be woken up, but not so strong that in the morning I didn't roll over and go back to sleep right afterwards. In the morning I had to ask my spouse whether we did, indeed, have an earthquake overnight.

A very strong shake here in Benicia followed by a call from my kiddo in NY (are you ok?) a couple hours later. Nothing like being awakened twice in the early morning hours on the same day......

Didn't feel it in Scotland, but we hosted an all day family party of 25+ yesterday, and nothing short of 9.0 would have woken us up.

So, that was just a caber falling, I suppose.

Either it woke me or something else did shortly before. I felt it for 20-30 seconds. I live in Palo Alto about a mile from campus.

I live just east of Low APR U and didn't feel a thing. I didn't wake up till hours later. Cats seemed a bit more agitated than usual in the morning. I think my brain tunes out most shaking. We get small quakes about a mile and a half away a couple times a week. They used to wake me up. Now it takes a pretty big shaker to wake me up.
