It's a small sample, and 2 of the 3 games were against relatively weak opponents.  Plus the relatively slow tempo of Stanford's games distorts statistics that are per game, rather than per possession or per play.

Even with all of those caveats, though, the statistics are really impressive, particularly for scoring defense.  The average defense gives up roughly as many points per half as Stanford has given up in total so far this season.
