Both Parry and Shittu are included:
Parry or Phillips starting at DT
Shittu or Leuders starting at DE
Shaw is certain to be asked about the DL status at Tuesday's presser.
I also note that Austin is listed with Caspers as the starting RG. Is that a new development?
Cajuste is listed with Rector as starting WR. I hope that means he has been cleared to play.

It seems Caspers has identified himself as the weak link in the OL. Austin was getting reps against ASU with the first unit at RG. Don't remember how many plays, but he also didn't stay in the game either, which kind of suggests Bloomgren is throwing up his hands and saying "well, if this guy isn't getting it done, let's try another one." The fact Austin is an "OR" at starting RG when the mantra has been "these guys need to come together as a unit," really bolsters the fact Caspers isn't getting his job dome well enough.
I haven't watched the games over again to study anything, but it's difficult for me to be that confident in Caspers when I paid close attention to him really struggling in the Spring Game.
Pretty amazing Shittu is on the depth chart this week. Might have been a good idea to play Watkins, Callihan, or Hayes and not undo the Phillips redshirt against ASU if the Parry and Shittu injuries are minor in nature. Can't believe Phillips was at times playing NT at a listed weight of 255. His relative small girth compared to everyone else on the LOS was conspicuous, but he seems to have held his own, which I guess bodes well for his future when he adds more weight and strength.

According to the gostanford.com depth chart, Phillips is 225 pounds. Surely that can't be true?!

Shittu is supposedly done for the season. not sure about Parry's availability this weekend. he didn't play after the goal line series
per Andy at Rivals, Austin took 4 series at RG at ASU, Caspers 6 series against ASU.Â

...you'd recognize Shaw's lineup tactic immediately. When outnumbered and facing daunting odds, the defenders of the fort take the bodies of their dead and prop them up on the walls to look more formidable. It's all for show. Gary Cooper in Beau Geste. Check it out.Â
Re: Depth chart for Oregon State - ChicagoCard - 10-21-2014
Phillips is 255 on gostanford.com. Weights on that roster seem to be updated once a year around the start of fall training. Watkins is listed as being 262 there. Try googling "jordan watkins weight" and he (or another Jordan) is 272. Anybody know Google's source? Watkins is listed in the depth chart, possibly for the first time. He is listed on Rivals / Yahoo as having been a recruiting target for more than 10 SEC programs.

Re: Depth chart for Oregon State - ChicagoCard - 10-21-2014
I believe you of course. Could there be two iterations of the roster on gostanford.com? I'm viewing this address...
http://www.gostanford.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=30600&SPID=127013&SPSID=749928
Edit: Oh yeah, on the depth chart. I see that now. I'm thinking that has to be wrong and that he's above 260 now.
Re: Depth chart for Oregon State -
Hank 91 - 10-21-2014
In his presser today Shaw talked a lot about personnel decisions he needs to make with the offense, and the first is admitting that Brendon Austin is pushing for Johnny Caspers's job. (Though it could be the other way around -- Caspers pushing for Austin's spot on the bench.)

There's a new/updated depth chart at

Changes from the earlier iteration:
No Aziz
H. Anderson/Watkins at DE1, Lueders/Lohn at DE2
And Harrison Phillips weight is listed as...
255.
Re: Depth chart for Oregon State -
TrumpCard - 10-22-2014
I know I sound like a broken record, but it is so discouraging to see the omission of Hayes and Callihan from the NT depth chart. Burning Phillips' redshirt to have him play NT at 255 is so telling. I suppose the good news is that Phillips must be a good one to merit playing time out of position as a true freshman.
Re: Depth chart for Oregon State -
stan01 - 10-22-2014
Things that make no sense:
Have 4 co-starters at RB, including Seale, but McCaffrey is not one of them.
Hooper and Cotton are co-starters at TE, but Taboada is not. Would it hurt to add an "OR" like they did with the RBs?
At OLB, Vaughters or Kalambayi? Is it because Vaughters is still injured?
Jeff Trojan's absence from the WR depth chart. If Pratt is on there, Trojan should be as well.
