McCaffrey - Fresbone - 10-21-2014
Chris McCaffret is listed as 6-0, 200. For those who know this kind of stuff, what will he be after a few years of strength and conditioning?

5' 11" 195. Is this a "Predict the score" thread?

Either in the NFL or running a hedge fund.

If he's willing to follow my special Cap'n Crunch and oatmeal stout diet, I can pack a good 27 pounds on him in about three weeks.

I'd love to think C Mac could be our next power running back, but he's high-cut for an RB. And while he's not a whippet like his dad--one helluva strong whippet, by the way--he doesn't look mesomorphic. I think our staff will want to line him up all over the field, but mostly in the slot. A threesome of Trent Irwin, C Mac, and a big all-around WR like Cajuste might be ideal in lots of situations.
Hulk, You think Irwin's coming after the Desert Debacle? - Redrum - 10-22-2014
His best friend and QB is headed for ASU. ASU is all over Irwin. The friend is all over Irwin. One program looks like a million bucks. (Well, for right now. At least they throw complete passes to their WRs) We looked like a sketchy game show with bad ratings and a rugby player for QB.
Do you know something that changes the
normal way that plays out?

Re Irwin:
We haven't lost a recruit to ASU since Mike Nixon in our dark ages.
We're something like 13-0 against them since then.Â
Well, I like how you think. Always positive - Redrum - 10-22-2014
You should be in something like sales and marketing. Maybe write some books that tap into that positive way of looking at the world. EMOTICON.
I think our best chance is an engaged mom with strong opinions who is constantly reminding her kid of the 40-yr. decision. Something, anything to counter game videos that show Stanford not completing passes and , when they
do, not protecting the guy who has to throw them.

Thanks, Hulk.

Arizonans on our most recent rosters:
Trent Murphy
Andrus Peat
Zach Hoffpauir
Drew Terrel
Drew Carrington
A.T. Hall
Blake Martinez
Casey Tucker
If Arizona football players consistently choose us over ASU, we should be optimistic about landing a Californian.Â
No kid--football player or otherwise--chooses a school because its team won a particular game, or games, in his senior year. If that was the case, we'd won most and perhaps all of our recent recruiting battles against Notre Dame and USC, The dumb kids ignored it completely.

Would that constitute a recruiting violation if I were to propose to his mom? Cause if he's good enough, I'll do it!
