Stanford D is probably better than last year.
Oregon D is probably worse than last year.
Won't comment on the relative changes on the other side of the ball or the weather forecast.

Oregon 21; Stanford 7
I feel like such a traitor for doing this, but I just don't see us pulling it off three years running. It could easily be a blowout.

21 - 20 good guys
Neither Oregon nor Stanford O as good as last year, plus what Farm93 said.

I can't predict a loss for us, so I'll go with a narrow win, 24-22.

Once again we get into the question of whether this is supposed to be what we would like to see happen or what we think is actually going to happen. The Ducks of course are the most likely winners, but what's the fun of predicting them to (especially when it doesn't cost anything to be wrong).
So I'm going with Stanford 24, Ducks 20.

Did I miss the announcement that Andrew Luck is going to make a special guest appearance as our QB for this game? Either that or Stymie got confused and thought he was supposed to be predicting the score of the first Card/Duck basketball game this winter.

Not exactly.....
.....I am cautiously encouraged by the apparent quantum leap taken by Coach Shaw in terms of unbinding the chains previously placed upon our offense--the Power (Right), Power (Left), Piss Poor Pass, Pooch Punt Predetermined Plan) and adoption for more of a Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom Philosophy.
BTW, I envision entering the 4th quarter with a 51-15 lead, with The Mallards making it look close by going 03-30 in Garbage Time. If Harbaugh and Luck were around, the final score might have been 71-17.....
Now, back to that large glass of Macallan I was sipping.

That's OK, if someone had predicted before the 2012 game that we would hold the Duck O to two TD's or in 2013Â have a 26-0 lead in the fourth quarter I would have accused them of smoking or drinking something too.

Who can figure out this team? Certainly not me.
Water Fowl         34
Indomitable Redwoods 20
I hope I'm wrong but when I read the tea leaves from last Saturday's game I don't get as excited as some here. Turnovers, penalties and missed kicks can kill a team playing top notch opposition and the the team in Eugene is much better than the one at Corvalis .
Again, I sure hope I am wrong.
