Instead of endlessly carping about Wilner\'s  corrosive approach to us,  consider playing in a town with the Great White Shark  of college football journalism.  Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for...  Bill Plaschke:

I like reading Plaschke. Â It helps that I read him in small doses, he\'s funny and his venom is aimed at USC and UCLA. Â
He\'s Kawakami with a sense of humor or Ratto without the smack-me-in-the-face twit factor. Â Of course, I\'d HATE him if I were a Bruin fan.

I admit ... I feel like I confessed to kicking poodle puppies given the rep Plaschke has around here. Â He must have REALLY let the vitriol roll in 2000.

As anyone who has read even a small amount of Fire Joe Morgan knows, Plaschke is an idiot who favors semi-profound one-sentence paragraphs.
