Has that little pitch play in short yardage ever *not* worked? Seems like every time it gets dialed up it works.

CM looked pretty darn good on that possession.Â He dug deep to get that first down.Â I'd like to see more of him lined up on the backfield.

Seems like Utah is still giving our defense schematic trouble. (Interestingly, Alexander and Harris got a bunch of time that drive?)

You probably have some ad windows open. If so close them. You should use adblock plus to avoid this problem.

I have never gotten malware from this site.

Well, wish we could've saved that challenge. The guy who initially touched the ball didn't possess it as his knee hit the ground, then he touched the ball while his body was in the end zone. Should be a touch back. Oh well....

Not sure what to say about the offense. Uninspired? This whole game is just blegh. The season in a microcosm. Can't find a ton of fault with our playcalling. I thought McCaffrey has run pretty well, Wright has run decently. BJS hasn't done much, but he hasn't had great blocking. Hogan has just been ok.

The QB keeper on futile last drive was an interesting wrinkle that worked.Â But taking sacks has killed a lot of drives today.Â Hogan cannot keep taking sacks.Â Surely there's got to be a hot route or quick out available to him.

This is an ugly, ugly game. I realize that the Utah defense is pretty good, but the Stanford offense is boring, plain and simple.
