WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
BTW there was not nearly enough wild raucous celebrating happening in our end of the stadium! This is the AXE we're talking about!

Kal was so kal (much to my amusement, starting with the first play from scrimmage)...and Stanford finally looked like Stanford.

Considering the opponent, it doesn't mean much. It's much more telling that Utah got curb stomped at home to the tune of 42-10 by Arizona.

And a week after losing to Northwestern, Notre Dame dropped another at home to Louisville.

Even though we will probably go to a lowly bowl game, it is really important for the team to get those extra practices. It will help next season. Now, let's go get Hundley again. >:(

And gave up 30+ points for the 6th game in a row.

That part empty Stanford section - Redrum - 11-22-2014
I can't find the exact post on BI, too much blood, spittle, bile and tears. But before the game some bare posted that Stanford had returned roughly half of its ticket alotment. That'd cut down on the celebration noise a bit, if true.

I don't think it was half, there was one part of the visitor's section that was empty, and it would be 1/4 at most.

The report that I saw said that Stanford was allotted 10,000 tickets and returned 5,000.

In other news, Stanford was allotted one Axe, but did not return that.

That just doesn't compute based on the crowd. Though, I have to say, we did an
abysmal job with selling the tickets. I never saw any announcement that they were on sale and you had to call to buy them, and I didn't even figure that out until a few weeks beforehand. Why weren't they on sale online and why didn't we get e-mails about it? I almost got tickets from stubhub because I thought we were sold out when they never appeared online. (It's possible that I'm just dumb and missed something, but I don't think so.) And, to top it off, they were $80 each for seats that weren't great. I think our ticket office normally does a good job, but all that put together can make me understand why we'd end up sending some back.
