WVB - speculation on seeding and regional placement -
Spiny_Norman - 11-29-2014
The WVB bracket will be announced tomorrow. I was looking at the regional locations (Ames, Louisville, Minneapolis and Seattle) and shuddered at the thought that Stanford and UW might be placed in the Seattle regional. While both teams are top 4 and should be in separate regions, this would fit the NCAA pattern of a) trying to minimize travel expenses and b) screwing over Stanford.
I exaggerate only slightly. I am fully prepared for Stanford to be underseeded, sent several time zones away and/or forced to play on the home court of an opponent because we see it often. What is the most likely location? Minneapolis?

Not in Washington's as our loss, their win, insures we are both # 1 seeds. We should be # 1 overall. So we are being sent East but first we play at Stanford this Friday and Saturday.  I just hope we don't play Penn State in a regional.Â
Ames, Iowa State is a 12 in the RPI of a week ago so barring loss this week should host.
But several big games today back east so we shall see.Â
