Good point BobK.

And while Football won't match their 66.75 points from last year, they can still make a meaningful contribution if they win their bowl game.  Here's the scoring structure from the NACDA Web site:

FBS Football

The following breakdown will be used:
•1st place - 1-25 using the USA Today poll, point breakdown is as follows: We will be using the 64-team non-bracket point system for the top-25 teams with 25th place receiving 49 points.
•26th place - Bowl game winners not ranked in poll (45 points)
•Next Available Place - Bowl game losers not ranked in the poll (25 points)

The Cardinal can reasonably finish the Fall with 535 points or more versus 461 last year.  Biggest net gainers are WFH +60 and MCC +35.

With 45 points for the bowl game victory over Maryland, the Cardinal stand at 545 points.  Football can contribute a few more points if they finish in the Top 25.

In second place, UCLA has 430 points before their bowl game today.  Last year, they finished the Fall Cup scoring with just 222.5 points.  With such strong improvement, can they dethrone the Cardinal and end our Cup streak?

Meanwhile over in DIII, the leader at 311 points is none other than MIT.
