24-13 was the final. The 49ers are now 7-6, 3 games behind the Arizona Cardinals and two behind the fighting Carroll's. With three games left,m a wild card is unlikely.

On the plus side, the Niners loss is not the most embarrassing loss this week. That prize goes to the Michigan mens basketball team, who lost to the school formerly known as Newark College of Engineering.

I like it. It's possible Yale has a good team this year. Those Ivy League teams can be pesky. One of my favorite memories is from about 10 years ago when my undergraduate school traveled to Los Angeles to put a 99-61 hurting on the Spoiled Children.
