Now losing 24-13. I don't think this is how you audition for a job.

24-13, not 23-10, but not functionally different. Still a two score difference, with about 6:44 left in the game.

At least one West Bay team/coach beat an East Bay team/coach in football this season...

But it's exactly how you audition for a Big Ten job...

24-13 was the final. The 49ers are now 7-6, 3 games behind the Arizona Cardinals and two behind the fighting Carroll's. With three games left,m a wild card is unlikely.

On the plus side, the Niners loss is not the most embarrassing loss this week. That prize goes to the Michigan mens basketball team, who lost to the school formerly known as Newark College of Engineering.

Maybe he doesn't want the Raiders to give up too much to get him. ;)

Another embarrassing loss is #10 Kal WBB losing to unranked Kansas 62-39.

Second place goes to Yale men's basketball beating UConn, 45-44.

I like it. It's possible Yale has a good team this year. Those Ivy League teams can be pesky. One of my favorite memories is from about 10 years ago when my undergraduate school traveled to Los Angeles to put a 99-61 hurting on the Spoiled Children. The way I remember it, Penn emptied the bench and played four corners at the end to avoid hitting the century mark.

Why would you not hang a hundred on U$C? :PÂ Too classy...too classy for the Fighting Trojans :)
I know a guy who used to play power forward at Yale. He's pretty stoked ("now entering the Golden Age of Yale basketball").

And you thought things got silly when he was here! Now, Rivals is tweeting that Harbaugh "refuses to confirm reports of lack of interest..."
