Not a Niners fan but they're idiots

A-Rod. Alex, not Rich.

Life-long Niners fan. Unbelievably stupid and incompetent  management ??? . A fan no more, and there are many others who feel the same way.

Re: Harbaugh let go - socalstanfan1 - 12-29-2014

I'm a big fan of both Harbaugh and the Niners and won't be abandoning either one. But I have wondered since about mid-season if Harbaugh had lost control of his own locker room and maybe lost the players. Multiple legal issues, issues with Kaepernick's development, sometimes mystifying play calling, giving up brobdingnagian leads in games, just a host of issues. I wonder if the EUTM is ok with people passing through for several years, but maybe too much for the long haul. Maybe he ends up back in the NFL at some point, but something tells me that, like some other coaching Gods (Pitino & Calipari in Basketball, Saban in Football) Harbaugh's personality may work better at the college level.

I fully expect him to turn Michigan around in a heartbeat. As for the Niners, that may be another story

Re: Harbaugh let go - rudruff - 12-29-2014

The niners depend on whether they are going clean slate or promoting Fangio/Tomsula and changing the offense.

Michigan will depend on whether Harbaugh can pick a good staff (something he has done in the past, but hasn't had to do much of for several years). Roman and Fangio have been with him a long time.

Either way, I am most concerned with them looking for coaching talent in the Palo Alto area.

Oops...well at least they didn't get Daddy Harbaugh's photo

Re: Harbaugh let go - stupac2 - 12-29-2014

Everything I've read has made it very clear that this decision came from the Front Office. Seems like it was York's call. Also seems like a brobdingnagian mistake, but it might work out well for Jim since the 49ers could easily end up in cap hell for the next year or two.

I'm having really nasty flashbacks to the x years before Harbaugh took over the 49ers. Yeccch.  :(
