Mbb vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff - CompSci87 - 12-29-2014

We're looking great, but UAPB is horrible. 30-6 right now.

Re: Mbb vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff - DenverCard - 12-29-2014

I watched some of the game via live streaming on the Pac-12 Network site until the frequency with which brief segments were skipped or repeated started driving me crazy.  This has happened to me before when I've watched games via the internet, but never on the television broadcast when I get it in Colorado.  Has anyone else had this experience?

FINAL: 74-39 - BostonCard - 12-30-2014

It was 45-14 at the half, so we could have missed every shot the second half and still won.  We were 11/17 from 3-pt range, so we almost beat them with 3-pointers alone.  Ant Brown had 4 of them; he led Stanford with 16 points.  Three guys (Brown, Nastic, and Randle had double digit points.  Nobody played more than 29 minutes.

For the Golden Lions, it was basically a one-man show; Marcel Mosley was 7/14 (5/7 from 3) for 25 points.  The entire rest of the team combined was 6/27 (1/7 from 3) for 14 points.  They didn't score a field goal for the first 8:10 of the game, and then in the first 4:33 of the second half.  They scored their second field goal of the second half 8:33 in.

With his next three point basket, Randle will tie Dion Cross' Stanford record of 241.

Interesting factoid from the ESPN write-up:

Quote:Stanford has three players from EST, four from CST, three from the Mountain Time Zone, six from the Pacific Time Zone and one who is a native of UTC+1 (Budapest).

Re: Mbb vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff - burger - 12-30-2014

So we head into P-12 play 8-3 with the great win at Texas, horrible loss at DePaul, and acceptable losses against Duke and BYU.  Pomeroy has us 39th and Sagarin 33rd, and we're 48th in RPI with the 80th SOS.  We also have a home game against UConn coming up to bolster the non-conference schedule a bit.

With that non-conference resume, we'll probably need 10-11 wins in the Pac-12 to make the Tourney, and avoiding any more bad losses will be critical.  It's great to see the team heading into the conference slate with a blowout win.

My favorite stat from last night's game: 22 assists on 25 made shots.  More of that please!

Agreed with the sentiment that fans should know when to be gracious during the game.  Not cool to have someone like that representing Stanford fans to the world.
