Maryland game thread - washingtonismoney - 12-30-2014

Not a fan of the trees on the helmets.

Is that what that is?? I first thought, "Why is there tape on the helmets?"

I get that it's the state flag (crest?) on Maryland's helmets but they're an eyesore.

Re: Maryland game thread - washingtonismoney - 12-30-2014

Fan of the early TD drive tho.

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014

Good first drive......

No, the trees on *our* helmets. Typically we go with the block S. Now, for whatever reason, we've decided to go with the tree-in-front-of-the-S logo. I'm not a fan.

Re: Maryland game thread - Gauss - 12-30-2014

Well, so far, we got the Hogan from the UCLA game (aided by some atrocious coverage by the Terps) and no penalties.

Me loved that drive!

I think Stanford should go back to these helmets (or, this S)...

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014

Defense has looked a bit porous in this quick first quarter

Re: Maryland game thread - yvonne - 12-30-2014

This sucks. We should be owning these guys.

Re: Maryland game thread - Kathy - 12-30-2014

Is the wind a significant problem?

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014

Idano about that pass interference. It looked more like their feet got tangled than any deliberate intention to hold up the receiver.

Plus it looked uncatchable.

Re: Maryland game thread - washingtonismoney - 12-30-2014

Garnett is brutalizing Terps when he pulls.

Re: Maryland game thread - fullmetal - 12-30-2014

The Foster Farms commercials are kinda bad...singing chickens?

Re: Maryland game thread - fullmetal - 12-30-2014

Maryland is dinking and dunking their way to sustained drives.  CJ Brown isn't bad--he's handling the pass rush.  And Maryland has some decent WRs.  The defense will have to bring their A-game.

Re: Maryland game thread - washingtonismoney - 12-30-2014

Despite the three-and-out (and, for that matter, the success on Maryland's first drive), the defense has not been playing terribly well.

Re: Maryland game thread - Kathy - 12-30-2014

Definitely seeing UCLA Hogan tonight

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014

Nice to see that Kevin's passes have an unusual zip tonight.

Think Hogan was always capable of this, he just needed the OL to get sorted.

Re: Maryland game thread - Bruce Wang - 12-30-2014

Ive given up. Im now watching the more reliable Spanish language WatchESPN stream.  TIL Touchdown in Spanish is Touchdown.

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014
