Front page of ESPN has a buddy move shot of Sherman and Baldwin sandwiching our favorite Tro.jan Carroll. It's too bad these two are improving that guy's standing in the league...

I don't really have a brobdingnagian problem with Pete. He's a lot more likeable than the majority of football coaches I'd say, and was really gracious and amicable when some friends and I ran into him at the 6 man volleyball tournament in Manhattan Beach (and honestly pretty cool of him to be mixing it up there in the first place).

This was pre-2009, and I was with my USC med school friends, who were all Trojans fans. One of my buddies went up to say hi, he shook my friend's hand, said "Fight On" and slapped him on the ass.

He's no longer coach of the Trojans, and we had a couple of great wins against him while he was there.  Plus he brought four years of sanctions against USC.  He's done well with Sherman and Baldwin.  I don't bear ill will against him.  He's much less of a douche than the two coaches who have coached USC since he left.
