MBB: New player tonight vs. AZ - StanFan88 - 01-22-2015
OT Nick Davidson (6'7" 288lbs) will be suiting up tonight against Arizona wearing #42. Sounds like both Verhoeven and Travis are still out.
Was he MVP of A league intramurals or something? I guess he can occupy space and eat up a few fouls that would otherwise be called on Nastic.
Last two football players I can remember suiting up at Maples were Tavita Pritchard and Teyo Johnson.

Good! I think what [former star HS QB] Michael Humphrey has been missing so far this season is a solid offensive line... ;D

I remember seeing Garin Veris go down the lane in A league IMs and putting multiple people out of the game. If those things happened today they would likely be failing concussion protocols. There were some very loud THUDS from people trying to take a charge when he went to the rack.

I had no memory whatsoever of Tavita Pritchard being on the basketball team. Turns out that he played just 2 minutes in 1 game in the 09-10 season:

Guess who is still on the Stanford roster? Elliott Bullock (after a 2 year mission). He has played in 2 games so far this year. Would expect that he would come off the bench before Davidson. I guess we will see soon enough.

Davidson like Tavita a practice player. Bullock was out for a month or so. Played tonight

Speaking of IM basketball, Senator Cory Booker played on my C-League IM basketball team one night when we were short bodies. Even though he was our good friend and more athletic than any of us, he wasn't a basketball player. Too much dribbling, not enough passing.
