6'4" 295 lbs without any help from Turley.  A little tall for NT in a 3-4 but if Turley gets him up to 310 or so...wow

That 295 could be bad weight. Would be nice if we could redshirt him. I guess that depends on some of the older guys.

Height isn't the issue for a NT, body width and leg/butt size is.

Right which is why at 6'4" I'd worry that he'd need to be 310+ to have the necessary girth to be a NT

Annan is going to immediately be at least the second biggest DL Stanford has when he joins the team this Summer.  He may in fact be the biggest.  If he does play at 310, my guess is it will take a season or two to get there.  As for red shirting, how is that going to be possible?

Annan has to play this year if at all possible so he gets some experience for 2016.

Annan is plenty big and strong. He needs to play with a lower pad level though.

Doesn't look like a lot of bad weight there but maybe a little - nothing a year of Turley magic can't fix.  He does get too high but that's technique that can be coached.  He clearly is pretty quick off the snap so whatever extra weight he has isn't having a big impact.

That was a fun link.  Thanks alot SF88.  At the end of the video you can continue selecting various Cardinal recruits and get the coaches' evaluations, which are amazingly personalized.  The  coaches are men we can be proud to have out in recruits' homes representing our school.  Pretty neat!
