I can't decide -

Does that now mean he is now a "Legend of the West"?
Or should we just award him the "Top Gun" trophy?

Maverick (and Badhwar) are leading the USGA 4-ball better-ball championship at -6 at Olympic.

It's interesting to see a few famous names near the top of the leaderboard, either from business or golf. I wonder if Jacob Huizinga is related to Wayne Huizinga. Both are from Florida. Huizinga is playing with WIlliam Wrigley. One wonders.
Some famous golf names on the list: Mickelson (Tim, younger brother of Phil and ASU coach, playing with Jake Yount, his former player), Sluman.

Speaking of famous business names, I didn't realize Maverick is the son of Scott McNealy, of Sun Microsystems fame.

McNealy also one of three finalists for the Ben Hogan Award as the top player in the country -

Stanford's Patrick Rodgers won the Ben Hogan Award last year. Winner to be announced May 18.
