Is this correct re: Stanford draft-eligible players? - OutsiderFan - 05-04-2015

Can someone fact check this?  Stanford had eight 2014 starters looking to end up in the NFL and eight guys ended up on rosters on draft weekend, six drafted and two UFAs.

1/1 OL
1/1 WR
0/0 TEs
0/0 RBs
2/2 DL
2/2 LBs
2/2 DB

The only other starter who was eligible, but not even sure if he was seeking to be on an NFL roster:  FB Lee Ward.

I am pretty sure that Lee Ward is trying to make the NFL given the amount of Lee Ward promotional tweets and videos that seemed to be circulating last week coming out of the athletic department. I hope he signs as UDFA somewhere.

Hint:  its colors are blue and gold.

Chris Harper is a WR who impressed me over the past seasons.  Free Agent w/ Pats.  And Goff might go out after this year, which is OK with me.

What about Tennessee?  First year since 1963 the Vols didn't have a single guy drafted.

As for Ca.l, they will have a few guys drafted in 2016.  If Goff has a brobdingnagian year he could go, but word is he plans on staying in school four years.

Am I the only one slightly depressed by this tally?
That's a tough stat to repeat, it would seem to me.

Although, has Lueders signed somewhere? I can't seem to find that he has. That would make 2/3 for the DL.

Looking at this article on Stanford's pro day, he's noticeably absent from the list of participants:

Olugbode has also not signed anywhere, correct?

And including punters and kickers also would make the percentage drop a bit, unless Williamson and Rhyne have signed somewhere?

Rhyne has a tryout with Washington.

I would be very surprised if Williamson didn't get a try out (assuming he wants one), same with Ward.
