Number 1 player in the country plus our possible Libero for this year with Hodson and McKenna. I saw video with Bowen 6-4 can jump and what a wingspan. Alade with a load of potential.Â
At least 3 are walk ons which is amazing to have so much skill/potential and walk on

Hope springs eternal when recruiting classes are announced :)Â

Is it a little ominous to read:
Quote:In addition to the six newcomers, the 2015 Stanford squad will include seniors Inky Ajanaku, Madi Bugg, Jordan Burgess and Brittany Howard, juniors Kelsey Humphreys and Grace Kennedy, redshirt sophomores Merete Lutz and Ivana Vanjak and sophomores Sarah Benjamin and Sidney Brown.
Other than Lutz, I don't remember much play from any of the returning non-seniors. We lose a lot of talent after this next year. I hope we can get a championship before Inky, Madi, Jordan and Brittany graduate!
Re: WVB class announced -

Well gee only 6 can play at a time. You listed 5 and two outstanding Srs graduated.  And few injuries. :)

This coming season looks good. I'm sure 81's worried about the following year when Bugg and company are gone.
Bob, I bet you have a fair idea of recruiting prospects for 2016...
Re: WVB class announced -
BobK - 05-13-2015
We have 5 sand only players and will have more next year. 2 of our present sand players are very good.
The 2016 recruiting class will rival the class of our about to be Srs. Awaiting Admissions.

With the addition of the incoming class, Stanford should be a very formidable team and strong contender for the championship.
John Dunning and co. continue to bring in top notch players however he has not won a championship since the days of Mrs. Ogonna Nnamani Silva and Ms. Logan Tom. If Stanford WomenÊ»s volleyball fail to win the championship in December, then this senior class would be considered as a disappointment just like the previous classes. This senior class came to Stanford with lots of promises and talent.Â
Is getting to elite 8 and final 4 enough or should J. Dunning be scrutinized? 10 years without a championship is a long drought especially for Stanford womenʻs volleyball standard.

Interesting query. If you substituted "T. Vanderveer" for "J. Dunning" and "20+" for "10", I wonder what responses you would get here.

Could someone please explain the purpose of putting portions of posts in two-point type?

Yvonne--
Cut and paste from another message (or from another message's preview window) seems to grab the text tagging at this point, and a simple paste renders text very small.
Noticed it when I was updating the Directors' Cup tables in the other thread.
Got around it by using "paste as plain text."

It didn't seem to happen to me just now. What platform are you using?

Yvonne--
Chrome/Win7.
To be fair, it was also grabbing a lot of the inline tags associated with table building. Sample below. The reason I was thinking for the font issue was the tags that were inserted, that did not appear in the original copied text.

My TRS-80 says bah to your fancified machines. 128x48 graphics should be enough for anyone.
