Ask most hard-core Kal fans and they'll say that Bigelow was a disappointment, mostly because expectations for him were so high.  The kid had/ has speed but somehow Kal managed to flounder and Bigelow never became a star or even a reliable starter.  Part of that was a season lost to injury.  He might be right about the bigger field giving him a chance to show his speed.  I have a warm spot in my heart for the BC Lions mainly because back in the Pleistocene Era they used Volpe the Ballcarrier for a few seasons.  That, and Vancouver is a kind of a cool city.
