It's good to see the appeals court taking a small case seriously. Courts typically refuse to consider the reasonableness of the defendant's position in these minor cases.

"Rachel Ray loves cooking her family and her dog"  They might possibly have meant "...cooking, her family, and her dog."
or
"Attention: Toilet only for disabled elderly pregnant children."  Could use maybe three commas.
