Talkin an shit - oman - 07-08-2015

I'd just like to say that I cut people a whole lot of slack on how they phrase things on the internets.  That goes for all students, including athletes. 

Back when I was a student, I don't remember much written communication of less than five sentences at a time, which seems like the norm now. 

It's not wrong, it's just different.  The form of communication that is.
