I hope to see Harrison Phillips over 275, Solly Thomas over 265, and Azziz Shittu over 280 or maybe over 285.

A few thoughts/questions:

- Dontonio Jordan - 199 seems a bit heavy for a 5'11" receiver. Lots of bodies in front of him on the depth chart.
- Ra'Chard Pippens has great size for CB, but will he play at all? Special teams, though.
- Who is third string center?
- Only two FB, and one is (I believe) a walk-on. Means Reagan Williams will burn redshirt?
- I am guessing Taijuan Thomas is also not going to play much.
- Palma at 6'2" and 252 is crazy big (though only 7 lbs heaver than Blake). Hope he still has some lateral movement.
- Agree that Kaumatule's size is a severe outlier at OLB. Third position for him when we need guys on the defensive line. I am guessing he will play very little.
- I feel like three reliable OTs is not enough with our packages.
- Schultz needs a bit more weight to block.

I'll bet Caspers is the 3rd-string center. And I think Kaumatule could play a lot as a specialist defensive end in the non-3-4 packages.

I completely forgot about Jesse Burkett. He is the most likely 3rd string center.

I have to agree, and I'm beginning to feel like the coaches (who I am usually pretty hesitant to criticize), really botched his development.Â Wasted time at TE, now a OLB with DE size.Â I imagine that he will come in on those times when its more of a clear passing down for the offense, as a de facto DE.Â And if that is the case, maybe he has a productive spot on the team.Â But it just seems his career could have been handled better.
