Gotta be more than that one incident. Hard to understand how any coach would kick a player off the team for one outburst after getting decimated like that.

I might suggest that there's more to the story than what the embittered player has to say. Just a suggestion.

I just thought it odd that a Dolphins article would spend so much "ink" airing a college football coach in CA's dirty laundry. Do Miami fan's care about the back story? I would think it would be sufficient to say something like "When CM was kicked off of his college team for actions detrimental to the team, it raised some red flags among NFL scouts..."
But it's great to hear that Sonny's talent evaluating and/or managerial skill set is unable to make sure an NFL quality player is on his team and contributing.

Funny how so many of the guys on the team when Dykes came in hated him, and how the guys he recruited have no such feelings. It all is strong anecdotal evidence that Tedford was much more their friend than their coach, and Dykes is a coach.

I'll take the book of evidence in support of Tedford as "real" coach over Dykes , any day and twice on Saturday. Until Dykes goes to a bowl game (let alone wins), beats a top tier Pac-12 team (let alone wins the conference), and regains the Axe (let alone goes on a 5 game win streak), the jury is out.

Tedfurd had his moments (unfortunately) as a coach. Yikes will stay right where he is, I hope.
