Two things stuck out for me in that video:
1. the idiot who tackled the referee was in prime position to make the tackle if he hadn't vacated it.
2. They are playing in Cowboys stadium. This must have been a pretty big game.

The two are hoodlums, plain and simple. Sad thing is, a kid who went over to see if the ref was okay (presumably) got kicked out by a confused ref, while one of the two hoodlums escaped long enough to flatten the qb who had taken a knee.
