We went to the Hogan well once too often and then missed the field goal. Grrr. Defense needs to find itself because it feels like the game is slipping away.

Sometimes our conservative play calling gets me. 4th and 2 from the 25, down by 5. Go for it.

Big part of the issue, I suspect, is personnel: if it's shotgun, and the one back with Hogan is Marx, then it's a run to whatever side Marx is lined up on.
