Hopefully he stays away from Cal. Don't know what they're doing that makes them so enticing to recruits ("Come be a part  of perpetual mediocrity!"), but at a certain point you wonder whether talent will tell.

Stanfan, where did you hear this? There's an article posted at Rivals and dated today that indicates his list hasn't changed, and that it could even get larger rather than smaller.

Scout ran an article last week and he said his top 3 were Cal, Nevada, and Texas A&M. His teammate Matt Cochran has us in his final 5 and it sounds like Stanford wants him as a NT. But I'm not sure if either of these guys can get admitted.

"My other top schools haven't changed. I still like Cal, Stanford and USC and I'm looking at a few others. I like UCLA, their campus is pretty sick but I just want to watch them play this year and see if they improve on the field. I like Washington and Oregon too and a few others and I'm just going to play out the process and see how everything turns out."
