Pac-12 North SOS is fine. WE need to worry about winning our games and the conference. If we do that, we will make the playoff; if not we won't. Strength of schedule in the P12N is a marginal consideration.

So our situation could be worse. Tennessee was down 21-3 at halftime to Florida, wind up winning 38-28.

As I'd been suspecting, Arizona is giving Washington a game. What little I've seen of Washington makes them look not particularly impressive, though it's early of course. As my adrenaline level crashes and the reality of being on call with the 5-month-old sinks in I'll be heading to bed, but for those of you can handle Pac-12 After Dark, this might be a good one.
As I'd been suspecting, Arizona is giving Washington a game. What little I've seen of Washington makes them look not particularly impressive, though it's early of course. Also of note they doinked a FG off the upright as time ran out in the half. They're not looking particularly sharp.

5 conferences, 4 spots. If everyone is undefeated, playoff committee will find any excuse to shut someone out. And it'll be the Pac-12 that loses out if everyone beats each other up and finishes with 3 losses.
Stanford's better off beating 1-loss teams than 3-loss teams.

The Big-12 is screwed in that case.Â
ADD: Remember, we play 9 conference games plus a conference championship, and we have a much better OOC schedule than almost anyone. No FCS teams, only one G5 team, Kansas State and Notre Dame (even if ND is on a down year). I don't think we have much to worry about SOS wise.

I'm going to guess you have not paid attention to how the Big-12 has performed in their non-conference games this year. If they all have the same record, the Big-12 is getting left out again.

I'm going to guess you have not paid attention to how the Big-12 has performed in their non-conference games this year. If they all have the same record, the Big-12 is getting left out again.

Arizona hanging in there with Washington into the 4th quarter. Huskies defense isn't as strong as I thought. Arizona is down to its third or fourth string RB and within one score. 21 - 14 Huskies on top.

Cal-ASU back and forth as expected, but I'm not sure they'll actually hit the over, which is shocking to me. 34-27 with 7:30 left in the game.

Yeah, I was worried given that 34-point first-half total. 37-34 now 3:17 to play so the 81 pt O/U is within reach.
